Our Story

I’m Amanda, the face behind Rising Spirit Crystals, and I am supported by my life partner, Jerome, and my service dog, Rio. Jerome and I have been together for 2 decades and while we may be opposites in many ways, his Sagittarius curiosity and adventurous nature compliments my visionary Cancer personality and thus, Rising Spirit Crystals was born.

Crystal healing practices have been passed down in my family for generations. I was always taught by my mom, an intuitive and healer, that while crystals can be tools to support us along life’s journey, the work must still be done by us. I also simply appreciate the beauty that Mother Gaia offers us and recognize that some people prefer to adopt crystals and minerals for aesthetics.

As a social worker and fitness professional, I’ve always believed in the trinity of the mind, body, and spirit. My dream is to leave a legacy that creates lasting change and balance of this trinity in other people’s lives. I believe gratitude turns what we have into enough, sharing laughter with anyone who crosses my path, being authentic to the core, and living a life I love wholeheartedly and unapologetically.

Our mission is to create opportunities for people to experience joy, explore who they are at their core, and to connect to their own personal power with the help of crystals.

As humans, we are wired for connection. My vision was always to create a community that fosters connection and joy, belonging and acceptance, and a place for people to affordably adopt crystals that speak to their soul or aesthetic.

Our promise is to promote diversity, build an inclusive culture and product, and do our part to create a more equitable world. We can’t promise we’ll always get it right, but we’ll always put our community first and learn and grow. We value each person’s right to fully experience our community and our crystals free from prejudice and harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or other aspects of their identity. We always source crystals from trusted vendors with ethical practices and source directly from the mine owners as much as possible.
